Itinerary day by day
Day 1: Arrival in Chiang Mai
Pre-trip briefing and welcome dinner

On the day of arrival, we will check into our hotel in Chiang Mai and gather for a briefing and bike handover. Then, we will dive into the local cuisine and enjoy a variety of Northern Thai dishes, setting the stage for our exciting adventure in Thailand!

Our hotel is located in the city center, just a few minutes' walk from night markets, spas and live music venues, so we'll have the opportunity to explore the surroundings.
Day 2, Chiang Mai - Mae Hong Son, 270 km
Mae Hong Song's famous ring!

A wonderful day during which we will climb to the highest peak in Thailand, admire the remarkably beautiful sunflower plantations, colorful villages, and cascading waterfall, and then head to the peaceful town of Mae Hong Son where we will stay in comfortable rooms at a 5-star hotel.
Day 3, Mae Hong Son - Pai,
200 km
Turns, culture and caves

After leaving Mae Hong Son, we will turn and head through rice plantations to the Chinese village of Baan Rak Thai, located on the border with Myanmar. Along the way, picturesque landscapes will open up to us, as if we found ourselves in medieval China: vast tea plantations among wild shrubs resembling a patchwork of brown and dark green tones, wooden tea houses adorned with Mandarin inscriptions, and closer to the village, a peaceful mirror lake appears before us.

Get a steaming cup of Chinese black tea and enjoy the tranquility.
On our way back, we will take a tour of the Tham Lod Cave - one of the most impressive in Thailand!

Closer to evening, we will appreciate the most picturesque stretch of our route with epic panoramic landscapes that could be mistaken for the set of "Jurassic Park." We will spend the evening in Pai, where the nightlife is buzzing.
Day 4, Explore Pai Canyon!
After a traditional Chinese breakfast in Santichon village, we will explore the breathtaking Pai Canyon, strolling through its most picturesque spots such as the bamboo bridge with its stunning views of the forest and rice fields.

Closer to sunset, we will go for cocktails and live music.
Day 5, Pai - Mae Kok, 290 km
Along the golden triangle

We are returning from Pai along the brightly green rice fields that glow so brightly they are breathtakingly beautiful. The turn off out of Pai and route 1095 is where the real bikers' paradise begins - 762 bends wind their way through the steep mountain trails, over hills, and through river valleys.

The turns are sharp and often slippery, making for a leisurely ride. We will pass through Chiang Dao, a sleepy town surrounded by a ring of massive limestone cliffs, and it is definitely worth the effort.

Finally, we will arrive at the Golden Triangle - the area where the borders of Thailand, Laos, and Myanmar converge in the Ruak and Mekong rivers.
Day 6, Mae Kok - Chiang Rai,
270 km
The province of Chiang Rai is most famous for its tea plantations - heading north towards Mae Salong, we will stop at the Hor Fong tea plantation to try some tea.

Continuing north, we will navigate through a few steep climbs and descents towards the Doi Tung Botanical Garden and Royal Villa. Here, all kinds of flora and fauna inhabit the area, and we will rest and refresh ourselves for lunch.

Turning south towards the city of Chiang Rai, we will stop in a small village known as the union of mountain tribes, inhabited by the famous Karen tribe with their long, giraffe-like necks. Here, we will learn about a part of Thailand's tribal heritage.

In the evening, we will relax at the legendary Chiang Rai hotel.
Day 7: Chiang Rai - Phu Chi Fah, 250 km
Cherry blossoms and misty mountain views

We will turn towards the Northern Highlands, towards the border of Thailand and Laos. Along the way, we will enjoy the beauty of blooming wild Thai sakura. Closer to the end of the trip, we will stop and climb up to a stunning observation deck to admire the sunset.
Day 8, Phu Chi Fah - Nan, 350 km
We will start the day with local coffee, sweet toasted bread, and spicy Thai rice porridge. We will enjoy the misty morning sunrise and the bright tropical forest. We will visit a small local school called Banpot Wittaya, where beautiful Thai sakura trees are grown. We may even meet with local students and chat with them.

Today, we have a series of steep turns ahead of us as we ride through several national parks and wide serpentine roads, a fantastic day for adventure!
Day 9, Explore Nan, 280 km
What may seem like rural backcountry at first glance is actually a fantastic place to immerse yourself in and get to know the authentic Thai culture. Nan has preserved many beautiful relics of its ancient past: from distinctive Lanna/Burmese-style temples to Thai-Lue traditions that came from China, not to mention the wonders of nature surrounding the city.

We will explore Wat Phumin temple, which boasts some of the most beautiful and well-preserved frescoes in Thailand, stroll through the Nan National Museum, where various historical artifacts are collected, or visit the San Din Na Noi Geological Park. You won't get bored here!
Day 10, Return to Chiang Mai, 290 km
Samoeng and Mae Sa Valley

Today is the last day of our journey. Before we return to Chiang Mai, we will visit one of the largest elephant farms in Thailand, which will give us the most positive emotions. We will buy a bunch of bananas and feed the elephants, they will be very grateful.

After visiting the farm, we will return to Chiang Mai at a leisurely pace, and in the evening, we will have a farewell dinner.
