Itinerary day by day
Day 1: Arrival in Arequipa
This city is the colonial capital of the region and is surrounded by three impressive volcanoes. It features baroque buildings constructed from sillar, a white volcanic stone.

We will visit its historic center, where the Plaza de Armas and the 17th-century neoclassical Basilica Cathedral are located. A day to culturally acclimate to the country and its fabulous cuisine.

Day 2, Arequipa – Chala, 400 km
We will pick up the bikes in the morning at the hotel. The longest day of the trip in terms of kilometers awaits us.

We will follow a route descending from Arequipa until we reach the sea and the famous PanAmericana Highway in the town of Camaná, continuing along the coast until we reach our destination in Chala.

A road with sections of fun, open curves that passes through small fishing villages and large desert mountains that challenge the sea.
Day 3, Chala – Nasca, 170 km
During the first part of this day, we will continue the route along the sea until we reach Puerto de Lomas, where we will leave the coast and gradually head inland.

By midday, we will arrive at our destination, Nazca, known for its famous "Nazca lines"; preColumbian geoglyphs etched into the desert sands of this region.

We will have the opportunity to take a small plane and observe them from the sky.
Day 4, Nasca – Chalhuanca,
340 km
From Nazca, we will continue heading inland, crossing the Central Mountain Range until we reach Puquio at an altitude of 3,200 meters. We will change the desert environment of the coast for a high mountain one in just a few kilometers.

An incredible road that surprises every traveler who dares to traverse it. One of the stops of the day will be to visit Yaurihuiri Lagoon.

Our destination this day, Chalhuanca, located at almost 3,000 meters of altitude, will require us to ascend spectacular mountain passes until we reach the hotel.
Day 5, Chalhuanca – Cusco,
310 km
Another day on the route where we will continue crossing the mountain range with spectacular views of the valleys. A route with many curves that has earned the name "The Road of 1,000 Hairpins." There's a reason for that.

A relatively calm and enjoyable day until we reach our destination, Cusco. Depending on the time, we will have the opportunity to visit the city center or relax at the hotel until the next day.
Day 6, Rest day Cusco
During this rest day in Cusco, various activities or visits can be undertaken (with or without the motorcycle). One option is to visit Saqsaywaman, an Inca ceremonial temple, one of the most important historical and cultural sites in Peru and the Americas, located 2 kilometers from the city.

In Cusco itself, we can also take a walk and visit the San Pedro Market, Qorikancha, the Convent of Santo Domingo, or the San Blas neighborhood.
Day 7: Cusco – Ollantaytambo, 100 km
A day approaching the long-awaited Machu Picchu will provide us with several stops to visit some of the most impressive Inca constructions in the Sacred Valley. We will visit the Moray Ruins and their famous ancient agricultural laboratory.

Another stop will be to visit the Maras Salt Mines, which date back to pre-Inca times. We will arrive in Ollantaytambo in the afternoon, where we can rest, visit its famous fortress, or walk through the old town with its cobblestone streets and adobe and stone buildings.

Day 8: Ollantaytambo – Santa Teresa, 140 km
This day we will start the journey to Santa Teresa in order to visit the famous Machu Picchu the following day.

We will continue through the Sacred Valley along a spectacular mountain route, with hundreds of viewpoints and curves that will allow us to reach the famous Abra Málaga at an altitude of 4,336 meters. Undoubtedly, a unique and incredible area.

We will arrive in Santa Teresa with enough time to bathe and relax in its famous hot springs.
Day 9: Visit Machu Picchu
In the morning, we will head to the Hidroeléctrica station to catch the train that will take us to the entrance of Machu Picchu. This Inca archaeological site is the most remarkable you can find. Located high in the mountains with architecture made of perfectly positioned stones, it is a magical and spectacular place.

Once the visit is over, we can leisurely explore the town of Machu Picchu (Aguas Calientes), surrounded by a very special aura, where we will spend the night.
Day 10: Aguas Calientes – Pisac, 210 km
We will need to backtrack a few kilometers south. This route will feel new thanks to the countless variations its surroundings offer.

Once in Urubamba, we will continue along a beautiful road until we reach Calca, and from there to our destination for the day, Pisac. This town has an important archaeological park that we can visit, and a captivating traditional market that will provide a delightful stroll.
Day 11: Pisac – Puno, 390 km
A day of travel where we will make faster progress than in previous days. The highlight of the day will be ascending the famous mountain pass, Abra La Raya, at 4,335 meters above sea level.

A route with fewer curves than usual, but one we will surely enjoy. We will pass through towns like Sicuani and Ayaviri, and continue until we reach our destination, Puno, on the shores of the famous Lake Titicaca.
Day 12: Puno – Chivay, 300 km
We will leave Lake Titicaca behind and continue our journey. One of the stops for this day will be to photograph Lagunillas Lagoon, at 4,444 meters above sea level.

During the last part of the day, we will traverse the Toccra Pampas (large semi-arid expanses) and visit the Volcano’s Lookout at 4,910 meters, before beginning the descent to reach Chivay, where our hotel will be waiting for us.
Day 13: Chivay – Arequipa,
250 km
Last day of the trip! An impressive day awaits us where the highlight will be touring the road along the Colca Canyon, one of the deepest in the world. In this valley lives the enormous Andean condor, which can be observed from various viewpoints, such as the Cruz del Cóndor.

It's an area with green landscapes and several remote traditional villages where Inca terrace farming is practiced. Arrival in Arequipa and drop off the motorcycles.
